Stay-at-home-mom! Well, almost...


Well, it has been a journey and transition taking about 8 months, but I finally reached my destination to be a quasi-SAHM (Stay-at-home-mom).   For those that didn't know, here is a very abbreviated version of the back story.

Back in late May of 2014, I resigned my job and let my boss know that my goal was to be in a part-time position, whether that meant that I needed to leave the company or possibly find a different role inside the company.  My boss wanted me to stay, so agreed to place me into a part-time role within my department that was more conducive to working part-time.  The transition was set up to be a slow ramp down of hours over a few months, but has been delayed along the way due to organizational speed bumps.  I have been at four days a week since July, but I finally made my final step to working three days a week THIS WEEK!!  Already this week has been so fun with my boys.  I have Thursdays with Lukas alone, which is awesome because as a second child...well, you all know what that means.  And Fridays I am with both crazy kiddos.
