Lukas is officially two!

He melts my heart!

Caution...

...Lukas is turning 2!

So we celebrated with a construction-themed party!  Plus, it was the perfect excuse to break in the new pool with friends and family.

And it actually was the perfect theme since we had some scaffolding by the house that we turned into party decor and it wasn't even planned.  We threw up some Caution tape and we were good to go!

I actually had a fun time planning the party out and as you can see, Lukas was impressed too.

The funnest item was my semi-homemade cake...[Pinterest success!] 

And Lukas is the most excited about all of the equipment he got off the cake and has been playing with them NON-STOP!

The weather wasn't exactly cooperative for a pool party, but the kids didn't let a little cold stop them from having fun in the pool.  And when their lips were purple they were happy to switch the activities to launching themselves down the driveway on the quads...

Oh what fun!

Ft. Dalles Days

We participated in a super fun kids obstacle course during Ft. Dalles Days (Rodeo time) last weekend...
