Instead of the zoo this year, we found a wild animal sanctuary a bit outside of San Diego.  It was well worth the trip.  We were only several feet from all of the animals, and they fed each one we visited, so we got an up close and personal look at each one.

Spring Break Recap

Finally getting around to getting caught up on our awesome spring break trip down to sunny San Diego. This was our first ever vacation with friends and we had a blast!  But who wouldn't have fun in a tug boat themed house a block from the beach??

Day 1:  Surfing  -  The kids and a few adults did surf lessons at La Jolla.
