Christmas in Canada

This year we visited Vancouver, BC for Christmas and had a wonderful holiday with Paul's family.  

The weather was wonderful so we did a lot of walking around the city.  

These statues are always one of our favorite sights.

Winter Crafts

The boys had fun making Frosty out of felt cutouts and a glue gun.  

Futsal

Charlie is playing in a Winter Futsal league.  He is a bit obsessed with the sport at the moment. 

He got to play goalie last weekend and did a great job!

However his real love is on the field (or court in this case) where all of the action is. 

Christmas Piano Recital

The boys practiced diligently for the Christmas Piano Recital over the past month.  It was the very first recital for Lukas - we were so proud of him!  

MRI

Our first MRI experience was not for Charlie, which was expected with a dare devil,  but instead it was for Lukas.  The MRI was taken because Lukas has been dealing with headaches and periodic episodes of throwing up all year and the doctor just wanted to make sure nothing else was going on.  We are so thankful for the care we are getting at OHSU.  Lukas was such a trooper through the day. 

Being at a hospital isn't so bad if you get to watch Captain Underpants!

Lukas and Mom got a ride as he was waking up a bit.

Good news - his MRI was all clear!!  We got a call from the doctor before we had even made it home from Portland.

First missing tooth

Lukas lost his first tooth, just before Thanksgiving.  It's only a matter of time before the rest of the chiclets start coming out.

Christmas Tree

We're officially ready to get into the Christmas spirit at home.

We love supporting the tree lot that is affiliated with Camp Jonah and Camp Morrow.  They have great trees and are so helpful.

Annual Christmas Parade

The downtown Christmas parade is one of our favorite traditions.  

We love seeing so many friends all in one place!

It's a great way to get into the Christmas spirit!

Snow

Fresh haircut and fresh snow-  the boys are loving the white stuff. 

Thanksgiving

So grateful for friends and family this Thanksgiving.  We have a lot of blessings

We cooked the turkey in the pizza oven - unfortunately we didn't snap a pic.   It was yummy!
