First Lost Tooth

Today Charlie woke up and said his tooth was loose!  Sure enough, it was loose and his adult tooth was coming up behind it.  We have been waiting for this day to come!

By the end of the day Daddy and Charlie (with the help of Papa Moo) had the tooth out.

More Competitions in Modesto

The week has been filled with lots of activities...Charlie must be daring everyone to a match.

Grandpa Louie is proving a 101 year old can still hang with the young bucks.  

Here, he was the one teaching Charlie some new moves.

Papa Moo was put to the test on the race track.  Charlie is tough to beat.

 Even Auntie Dena can't seem to keep Charlie down.   

I wonder who has been the one napping this week (my guess is that it is NOT Charlie)!!!  

Mo-town

Next stop was Modesto on the California adventure trip.  This leg of the trip has been a blast so far too.  Monday was comprised of 'C's...

Tahoe Life

Life is rough when you live in Tahoe...

All Charlie got to do was kayak,

hike,

and check out hot rods!

Charlie even met a T-Rex named Sue, the largest and most complete T-Rex ever discovered!

He told me that he was going to move there and live in this fort he built.  

Reunited

This weekend we reunited with Lukas!!  We headed up to our home away from home at Marrowstone Island (a visit that was long overdue) to meet up with Tamara and Jim.  They, of course, had a blast with Lukas.

Lukas was still his sweet self, and remains obsessed with trucks; although somehow he appears older.   The last of the baby is almost vanished, seemingly overnight. 

We had some awesome adventurers with us -- Finn (Lukas' best buddy from school) and his brother Lyle (seriously the greatest big brother).  And, of course, there was an abundance of sea food - crabs, oysters and clams galore!

What will we do with ourselves this week!?!  Paul and I are without both our chiclets for four whole glorious days...Only kidding, as you can imagine we are bored out of our minds (we'll pretend that we are anyways!)  I think you can already tell it has given me some time to update this sorely overdue blog!!

So what are the boys up to, you ask?

Charlie is heading to California for a tour de grandparents...for THREE weeks!!

Lukas got to cross the border into Vancouver, B.C. with Auntie Tamara and Uncle Jim.  Not a bad way to spend the next four days, eh!  He's going to love digging in that sand for hours!
