Camping

We hit the weekend weather just right for a fun camping trip with friends from Bend.  We arrived while it was raining but the rest of the weekend was beautiful.  We were able to snag this awesome camp site next to the water.

We are all surprised that Lukas didn't fall in!  Look closely for his backwards feet!

Charlie spent lots of time in the (freezing) water.

He even took a polar bear plunge!

Special Visitors

We had some very special visitors this week.  Grandpa (aka - Papa Moo) brought up the cousins, Hunter and Ashley for a visit!  Charlie and Hunter wrestled all week and threw around the football; Lukas and Ashley were like two peas in a pod.  We wished the weather could have been better, but we made the best of it.  We appreciated them all coming up to see Charlie's last baseball game and graduation.  I even got to celebrate an early Father's Day with my DAD!!

How does time go by so fast!

Charlie had his last day of Kindergarten at Bright Beginnings school.  What a fun year!!

Mr. Scott had wonderful things to say to each child as he gave them their diploma.  To Charlie he praised him for being a wonderful athlete and photogenic.  He called Charlie his best friend and thanked him for all of the talks they had together.  Finally he said,  "I'm not going to lie, at times you wore me out.  Please go easier on your First Grade teacher."  First Grade - look out - here he comes!!

Charlie has been really into creating masks - at school and at home.  He has created some with animal ears and many others with colorful designs; it is fun to see his creativity come out.  We were checking on him one evening before going to bed and found him like this...

Welcome Relief

After camping we were lucky to have Mimi and Far Far roll into town!  Just in the nick of time for the busiest week ever.   Far Far pitched in doing items on Paul's "honey do" list and Mimi did many of the items on my own "to do" list and she also played chauffer and entertainer to the kids after school.

We were also grateful to celebrate some exciting events work (Paul) and life (Erica) with our loved ones.  How did we get so blessed!?!

Camping

I find myself sorely behind again in keeping this up to date...we have been up to a lot!!  I'll start back to a few weeks ago.  We made it down the road for a quick overnight camping trip!
