So, we know it has been quite some time since we have last posted an update here. I promise we will try to be better. In fact, we had very good intentions earlier this year, and even had it listed on our annual goals list to do a monthly post to the blog. I guess with the ease of posting quick updates and photos on Facebook, our good intentions fell flat. Anyways, here we are with new promises to keep this updated.
What have we been up to this year? - A LOT! I know many are wondering how the belly is growing and how the house projects are progressing, so here is the latest and greatest with the Joneses.
Bathroom and flooring remodel:
Well, the bathroom is 95% completed, sans mirror and cabinet. We are loving the improvements in this room! Can't wait until it is completely finished. Here is a slideshow of some before and after pictures...still some details to complete (trim, touch-up paint, etc.) but we LOVE it!
Nursery setup:
Well, we have decided to keep the room functional so that friends and families can continue to visit during the winter until baby Jones is ready to take over the room for himself. So far we have set up the crib and toybox. It is making it more real for sure!
So...lots of home improvements in 2010! Along with the above projects, we have also installed a new heat & air system to keep the house warm and toasty through the cold winter. So far it has made a big difference! Oh yeah... I almost forget to mention that this summer we also had the exterior of our house painted! How soon I forget after a few months go by.
I think that's enough home improvements for 2010! We will continue to update everyone with belly pictures and baby updates (you are all asking for them!)
